MISSION
A FARM FOR ALL FOUNDATION enriches the lives of
children and families with special needs by providing support through a
combination of services, therapeutic programs, resources, training and food
supplements.
GOALS
- Create a farm and gardens where children and
people with special needs will have hands-on training/experience in
organic and sustainable farming. Provide high quality organically grown
food supplements. Locally grown organic produce will be sold to help
generate funds. A percentage of food will be donated to local schools and
charitable organizations.
- Build a family resource center. A unique place
for parent/guardian support. This center will include a lending library,
humor, quiet and relaxing rooms to “get it back together” and a database
of service providers.
- Develop a training and therapy center. Plans
include conference rooms and small classrooms for workshops and therapy
sessions. a gymnasium, theater and library.
- Construct a swimming pool for aquatic
therapy, water safety instruction, swim programs and recreation.
- Establish a cafeteria and provide nutritional
training.
- Erect indoor and outdoor playground and
recreation area to include swings, climbing structures, sensory activities
and water play for kids of all abilities.
- Build a science museum/play zone, petting zoo and
aquarium.
- Construct a laboratory and testing facility.
- Provide ongoing training and community
outreach programs.
- Volunteer
opportunities will always be welcome.
